The Career Builder

Before you spend anything, watch this. What a career built on one specialism actually looks like: the treatment you learn, the menu it becomes, what to charge for it and where the first clients come from.

  • What the twelve months cover, and in what order
  • What a signature treatment is worth once it is on your menu
  • How to tell whether the Expert or the Master fits your situation

Free, and nothing to fill in: it plays here on the page.

Where most people get stuck

Nobody teaches you the part that pays

Whether you have studied or not, the gap is the same: a service someone will book, a reason to charge properly, and a way to find the first ten clients.

No obvious way in

A two year diploma is the default answer, and for many people it is the wrong one. It is broad, slow, and it still leaves you without a treatment of your own.

Everyone wants experience

Clinics want someone who can already deliver, and clients want someone with a following. Nobody explains how you are meant to get either without a first client.

No idea what to charge

You have no menu, no price and no way to work out what either should be. So the first offer you get is the one you accept.

None of that is a reflection of your ability. It is the gap between being taught and being ready, and it is the gap this pathway is built to close.

Why this rather than another course

Specialists get asked for. Generalists get compared.

Whether this is your first training or your fifth, the question is the same. What can you offer at the end of it that nobody nearby offers.

A beauty diploma

Broad, and widely held

  • One to two years across many services, none of them deeply
  • Protocols taught to a standard everyone else also holds
  • No signature treatment at the end of it
  • Pricing and marketing barely covered
A single short course

One technique, no context

  • A day or a weekend on one modality
  • A certificate, and no plan for what to do with it
  • Nothing about pricing, positioning or finding clients
  • Easy to buy, easy to leave unused
The Skinformé pathway

A menu, a method and a market

  • Four modalities, each with its own certification
  • A complete sixty minute signature facial to build the menu around
  • The Business of Facials Masterclass on pricing and positioning
  • Twelve months of guided study, assessed by Isabella Loneragan
What you actually learn

Five treatments, taught in order

Each one is a certification on its own and a service you can put on a menu. Watch any of them before you decide.

Level 1 · Online Awaken The Eyes

Eye area tension release, lymphatic drainage and precision muscle work. The foundation the rest is built on, and a menu add-on in its own right.

Facial Practitioner
Level 2 · Online The Signature Sculpt Method

Sculptural lifting combining deep tissue release, fascia activation and lymphatic movement. The treatment most graduates build their reputation on.

Facial Sculptor
Level 3 · In person, Master only Buccal, in the Intrinsic Intensive

Intra-oral work that produces structural change no surface technique reaches. Three days in a small group with real time correction.

Facial Artisan
Level 4 · Online Intrinsic Illumination Infusion

A fascia led technique using Chi flow and breath led movement to reset the nervous system. The treatment clients describe as unlike anything else.

Facial Architect
The whole treatment · Online The Skinformé Facial

A layered sixty minute protocol for daily use, combining everything above into one signature service you can price and book from day one.

Skinformé Facialist
In the room · Master only Inside the Intrinsic Intensive

What three days in person actually looks like. Small groups, hands corrected as you work, and the certification that follows.

Two ways in. One difference between them.

Both run for twelve months, both are assessed by Isabella Loneragan, and both end with a menu you can charge for. The Master adds Buccal, taught in person.

What graduates report

What a specialism is worth

These are the figures our graduates report back once the treatment is on the menu. None of them came from working longer hours.

60%Average increase in facial pricing within four weeks of training
$250 to $385What graduates charge for a signature treatment
83%Of clients rebooking in advance
9.8 / 10Would recommend to a colleague

One graduate went from pricing low because she worked from home to a signature treatment at $320, booked on referrals alone.

Figures are reported by graduates and are a worked example, not a projection or a promise. Results vary with your location, client base, treatment mix and pricing. Nothing here is a guarantee of income, and none of it is financial advice.

Common questions

The questions people ask before they start

Yes. The pathway is built to be taken in order, starting with Awaken The Eyes, and assumes no prior massage or facial training. People coming into the industry for the first time sit alongside qualified therapists in the same intakes.
It can be either. A diploma is broad and covers many services; this is deep on one, and it ends with a treatment you can price and book. Some graduates take it as their only training, others add it to a diploma they already hold.
The difference is Buccal and the three days in person. If you can travel and want the technique almost nobody else offers, take the Master. If you need to study around a job or a family, the Expert covers four of the five modalities entirely online.
365 days from enrolment, and you can take the courses in whatever order suits you. We recommend Awaken The Eyes first, since its movements are central to everything that follows.
No. Graduates practise from home, from rented rooms, and inside clinics that employ them. The Business of Facials Masterclass covers how to price and launch whichever of those you are working toward.
Yes. The Expert starts with a $500 deposit and three monthly payments of $875. The Master starts with a $1,000 deposit and seven monthly payments of $930.
